Jake focuses on estate planning and probate and trust administration and has a passion for helping clients achieve their planning goals. Prior to joining Reynolds Law he worked for a boutique law firm specializing in estate planning.
During law school, Jake was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board where he received the American Bar Association’s best brief award at the National Appellate Advocacy Competition, San Francisco region. Jake worked at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, where he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Anthony W. Ishii. Jake also worked in the California State Senate as an extern for the Veterans Affairs Committee. In his final year of law school, Jake wrote and advocated for the passage of Assembly Bill 2623, which amended California Penal Code section 13515 to require that law enforcement officers receive training on recognizing the signs of elder abuse. Governor Brown signed the bill into law on September 29, 2014.
Prior to attending law school, Jake served four tours in Afghanistan in the United States Army with joint Special Operations Forces. He received two Bronze Stars for his service.
